Extensive effort has been made to make all polling places in Snyder County accessible to the handicapped, disabled, and elderly. Snyder County has declared all polling places to be accessible to voters with the full range of disabilities.  For individuals with disabilities, Snyder County offers the AutoMARK which is a voter assist terminal ballot-marking equipment (available at every polling place) that allows voters with disabilities and other special needs to mark a ballot privately and independently when using an optical scan voting system. The technology also provides assistance to voters who need help to better understand written instructions.  For directions and maps to polling place locations, please visit the website www.snydercounty.org. and follow the links under Elections/Voter Registration.

If you are assigned to a polling place which you believe to be inaccessible, contact the Snyder County Board of Elections Office at (570)837-4286 on how to receive an alternative ballot.  The Pennsylvania Department of State has designated a toll free number for individuals who are deaf or have impaired hearing.  This number is for these voters who may have questions concerning the upcoming election.  The number is 1-800-654-5984.  This number can be used by voice communication and is also compatible with TDD equipment.   (Polling Places are subject to change.)
